Each year, the Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Delaware Chapter provides the opportunity for members of the construction industry to compete for honors in the Excellence in Construction (EIC) Awards. The EIC Awards program was developed to honor innovative and high-quality construction projects, and projects are judged on several criteria: how the unique challenges on the project were overcome; teamwork; quality of work; innovation; and maintaining of safety standards. This year, the Appoquinimink School District’s Fairview Campus and Whitehall Wellness & Professional Center – ChristianaCare Fit-out won the highest honor in Construction Excellence.
