My partners – Andrew DiSabatino, Adam DiSabatino, and I are incredibly proud to share that Christian J. McCone, PE, PMP will be stepping into the role of President of EDiS Company. This is a meaningful moment in our company’s history, and one we have approached with care, intention, and a long view of where we’re heading.
Chris joined EDiS in 2001, and from the beginning, it was clear he brought something rare: a steady, grounded leadership style shaped by 30 years of military service and decades of experience guiding complex community projects. He has a way of clarifying situations, strengthening teams, and making decisions that hold up over time. Those qualities matter in our work, because the places we build are deeply tied to the lives and futures of the people who use them.
Over the years, I’ve watched Chris bring discipline and purpose to every role he has taken on. He understands the responsibility that comes with building schools, libraries, wellness centers, and public spaces. He knows that our work is about more than construction – it’s about serving communities and supporting the people who rely on the environments we create.
His appointment continues a tradition that has been important to EDiS for generations: entrusting the presidency to a non-family leader who embodies our values and carries forward the standards set by those who came before us. In addition to his extensive construction experience, Chris respects the history behind this role and brings the capability and judgment needed to guide the future we’re building toward.
As President, Chris will oversee operations across the company, mentor emerging leaders, and help shape how EDiS continues to build what matters for our region. I look forward to continuing my work as CEO alongside him.
I am proud of Chris, grateful for the trust and partnership we share, and confident in the leadership he brings to this next chapter of EDiS.
