EDiS Company Announces In This Together Virtual 5K

It’s time to lace up those sneakers and hit the ground running (or walking, or skipping, or unicycling…)!

Over the last few weeks EDiS has rekindled our Wellness Program to help support our emotional and physical health, especially during this challenging time. Now more than ever people may be struggling to find the right balance of work and personal time, and time to exercise. We’re excited to officially announce the EDiS In This Together 5K! This 5K gives us all the opportunity to carve out some time doing something healthy while supporting our community. We’re inviting our EDiS family members, including any and all friends and family, to join us.

How will this work? Print off the EDiS In This Together 5K bib attached to this link: EDiS-5K. Fill in your name, lucky number, and any nonprofit, school, individual, etc. you want to highlight. Donate directly to the cause you are highlighting to help support our community during this challenging time. And be ready to be active Memorial Day Weekend!

Those who participate will have a chance to win an additional donation for their cause. We’re on the lookout for the “Most Spirited Individual/Team,” and the “Largest Team.” EDiS will make a donation to the two organizations highlighted in their honor. Be sure to post a photo or video with the hashtag #edisinthistogether5k along with your bib to show us how you got out there and did it!

Please share this with anyone you know, including friends, family, contractors, or organizations you think might be interested in being active for a good cause of their choosing.

When?

Memorial Day Weekend, any time between May 22 and May 25.

Where?

Wherever you are, this is a virtual 5K.

Who?

Anyone can participate, teams of all sizes are welcome, run for a family member, cause, or organization of your choice.

What?

This virtual 5K is meant to raise spirits and bring hope for all of us going through these difficult times. We can all find something or someone who has inspired us.
