Phoenixville Pike Laboratories

BioMed Realty Trust hired EDiS Company to provide design-build services for the renovation of 9,000 square feet into two tenant-ready chemistry labs and an office space. Without tenants, the design-build project was slightly more complicated in that the specific client or end use of each space was unknown. To keep the spaces flexible with regards to end use, all the labs were designed with separate mechanical systems and the ability to contain a minimum of two hoods.  The white lab is also flexible with the ability to add a third hood if required.  Currently, Suite 337 is outfitted with two hoods and Suite 335 is outfitted with one hood.  Rough-ins for plumbing and mechanical were also added for future growth.
