EDiS Breaks Ground on Ducklings Early Learning Center

March 23, 2023 • 2 MIN READ

EDiS was contracted by the Town of Whitehall to construct the Ducklings Early Learning Center to be located at the southern corner of Lorewood Grove Road and Mapleton Avenue on the south side town center.

The building will have one exclusive tenant, Ducklings Early Learning Center, a highly established and reputable childcare center headquartered in Chester County, Pennsylvania.  For 25 years, Ducklings has been providing the highest level of care and early education for infants through pre-k age children. Their schools become the foundations of their communities and establish connections between children, staff, and families that have grown Ducklings from a preschool into a great big family.

According to EDiS CEO & Town of Whitehall Co-Founder Brian DiSabatino, “It is no accident that the childcare center location is within walking distance of our commercial center, housing and the 800-student Lorewood Grove Elementary School. We foresee a great symbiotic relationship between all these elements, including after school care for Lorewood Grove Elementary.”

This will be Ducklings 12th location and the first of it’s kind in Delaware! The 10,000 SF facility will foster the growth of 138 children, and remain open for 11-hour shifts, providing convenience and constant care.
