As the Division Manager, you’ll play a key role in both project delivery and division growth. You’re not just managing work—you’re helping set direction, collaborating on goals, and owning performance across the division. From budgeting and forecasting to overseeing projects and leading a small but mighty team, this role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution.
Your priorities will be:
Strategy & Growth:
- Assist in developing—and lead the execution of—Division goals aligned with EDiS’ broader strategy.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and design partners to support both current work and future opportunities.
- Maintain a forward-looking perspective on trends, products, and innovations in the pre-engineered building industry.
- Manage and report on Division performance, including budget, forecasting, and sales pipeline.
- Lead, mentor, and develop team members through regular feedback, coaching, and support.
Pricing
- Develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules that accurately reflect pre-engineered building systems, materials, and vendor pricing.
- Review major vendor quotes (including National Parts Desk quotes over $25,000) to ensure accuracy and alignment.
- Manage and monitor financial aspects of contracts, protecting both Company and Division interests.
- Balance profitability and quality, making decisions that support long-term success, not just short-term wins.
Project Management
- Oversee pre-engineered construction projects, coordinating both independently and in partnership with EDiS Project Teams.
- Maintain timely, thorough, and accurate project documentation across all EBS work according to Company & Division standards.
- Review and approve Division purchase orders and invoices for payment.
- Monitor workload and manpower needs, so that Division work is properly staffed and supported.
- Visit project sites on a routine basis to stay connected to field conditions and project progress.
