Christian McCone Promoted to Vice President
Brian DiSabatino, CEO of EDiS Company, is pleased to announce the promotion of Christian J. McCone, PE, PMP, LEED Green Associate (Chris) to vice president. Chris will continue to serve as an operations manager for EDiS.
“Chris is the kind of leader that has made EDiS both a quality builder and a great place to work,” said EDiS CEO Brian DiSabatino. “We are excited to have him on the Executive Team as we look outwards to 2030 and beyond!”
Chris joined EDiS in 2001 as a project manager and was promoted to operations manager in 2017. His career at EDiS started after serving as resident engineer for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Dover Air Force Base. He also served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Army Reserves, retiring as a lieutenant colonel after 30 years.
Successful projects that Chris has managed over the years include the Dover Library, POLYTECH High School, the Delaware State University Student Center, and most recently the Route 9 Library & Innovation Center in New Castle, DE.
Chris is a graduate of the George Washington Carver High School of Engineering and Science and has both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Civil Engineering from Drexel University. Chris and his wife of more than 30 years, Joan, are residents of Magnolia, DE.
