Quality Assurance & Redundancy Planning
Condé Nast’s new data center had to remain functional at all times upon completion. Power and environmental controls were critical to this data center’s operation. During the design phase, EDiS worked with the designers so everyone understood Condé Nast’s specific needs and we created a commissioning procedure to “fail test” the power and AC systems. This process confirmed the back-up systems worked exactly as designed before the data center went “live.”
It’s now time to build! During construction, we know the importance of keeping our customers on track for success by safeguarding against any interruption to their business and building goals.
A fundamental concept in this phase is “management.” EDiS manages everything from cost and quality control to subcontractors and schedules, to safety through closeout and commissioning.

With phased planning, close attention to the museum’s very specific requirements and innovative solutions, EDiS helped the Delaware Museum of Natural History project stay on schedule. EDiS provided planning and building services for a four-phased renovation while the museum remained operational. EDiS also developed innovative, temporary systems surrounding the museum’s artifacts to ensure protection of the exhibition spaces.

Over the decades, we have developed a suite of services that frees our customers from the worries of day-to-day facility operations, or at least helps make them better equipped if they decide to manage things on their own.
By the time we reach the operational phase, our clients know we are still there for them with a suite of services tailored to their individual needs. We assist our owners with everything from facilities management to cost accounting to tenant improvement budgeting and capital planning.
After planning and constructing Artisans’ Bank’s new 66,000 sq. ft. corporate headquarters, EDiS, and our full-service property management company Asset Management Alliance, also went on to provide operations services for the facility. Asset Management Alliance (AMA) provides daily maintenance services at the Artisans’ Bank headquarters facility. Recently, the team assisted by planning and bidding an HVAC backup unit for the server room. Additionally, AMA responds to Artisans’ need for emergency repair services and assists with facility contract management.
