Training Specialist

EDiS’ Training Specialist, in conjunction with Operations, Division, and Department Managers, will conduct needs assessments of all EDiS Employees to identify training and development programs that enhance the competencies of employees. Based on the results of the needs assessment, this position will help identify both internal and external training resources, organize and implement training, and evaluate success of training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess training needs of new and existing employees.
  • Work with EDiS leadership to create learning paths that accelerate career growth specific to positions.
  • Develop and/or identify unique training programs that meet specific needs based on employees’ roles and responsibilities.
  • Organize and implement training programs for EDiS Employees.
  • Create a method by which to catalog training programs and materials for Company’s future use.
  • Evaluates program effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
  • Maintain training records (i.e., attendance, program materials, evaluations, etc.).
  • Keep up with latest trends in training and development, both in general and specific to construction industry.

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Training and Development, or related field.
  • Minimum five years’ professional experience, including experience organizing and implementing training programs.
  • Experience in the construction industry is a plus.
